A records not listed for Domain; Site not Working

    I use WordPress to run my own blog, which is hosted on Godaddy.

    My primary domain is pointed to http://www.communicationskillstips.com

    By logging into Automaticc through WordPress, I set the correct nameservers and A-records, as shown below:

    Manage DS Records
    DNS Manager
    DNS Manager: Available
    A godaddy 103.1.174.1
    CNAME e email.secureserver.net
    CNAME email email.secureserver.net
    CNAME ftp @
    MX @ mailstore1.secureserver.net
    MX @ smtp.secureserver.net

    Launch
    TLD Specific

    HOWEVER, I am still unable to log into my account using the WordPress app on Godaddy OR using http://www.CommunicationSkillsTips.com/wp-admin/ OR http://www.CommunicationSkillsTips.com/wp-login.php

    I contacted Godaddy for support and they sent me the following email:

    “Upon testing of the domain’s public DNS there does not appear to be any A records that are listed for just the domain. As such, you will need to contact your current Registrar: Automattic for further assistance on how to properly manage the DNS for the domain – GoDaddy”

    BUT…

    My A records ARE pointed to my host IP, which according to Godaddy is: 103.1.174.1

    Why am I still unable to log into my website so that I make it live?

    Try contacting the folks over at wordpress.com since that appears to where you registered you domain.
