    Posts in my blog are showing up as complete entries. Taking up the entire page. Anyway to truncate and then have users click on read more to view the whole post?

    In the post editor put a more tag in your post. At this point wordpress will truncate your post and put a link in which says Read more…

    Chris…thanks for the link. I was able to solve the problem. Thanks out to Tomontoast as well. Your information proved valueable as well. Now that I found an understand the coding it’s all pretty simple to make changes to.

    I found the more tag also, but when I insert it, it changes the sidebar information in size, the fonts are huge! I have the for Dummies book 2nd ed. but can’t find any reference to fix it.

    When you use the more tag, make sure that you don’t use it in the middle of any bold text. If you can’t track the problem down, post a link to your blog so someone else can have a look at it for you.
