A plug in for my online service

I am so over my skis asking a question in this forum but here it goes.
I have an online editing service. I edit a lot of blogs. I thought it would be easier for my clients if I had a plugin (if I understand plug ins correctly). That way my clients can transition from WordPress to my service seamlessly.
Does anyone how if that can be done? I have a software developer for a husband so I have the staff to do it. I need to have my plan in place before speaking with him about it though (his engineer brain wants ordered details)
Any advice or direction?
