   Is there a function in the codex?

   you have succesfully over-obscured this line, so it is difficult to know what you actually want.

   and where in the template files do you want to get this info?

   Like I said I want the yellow part. You don't need to see the url... It's the part you can edit when you create a new post.

   I'd like to use it for a template page.
