As Admin, I was editing a .php and tried to point to a different image.
I did the 'update' and saw the following:
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /mnt/w0803/d42/s06/b0320c58/www/danforthmennonitechurch.ca/wp-content/themes/prosumer/functions.php on line 17"
This threw me out of the Theme editor, and I cannot go to the site at all.
Please advise. Thank you. Mike.
You'll have to undo whatever change you made to the functions.php file by logging on to your server via FTP and editing the file in a plain text editor. Or, download the theme again and upload a new copy of the functions.php file.

Thanks, my site does not yet let me have FTP (I need to pay to upgrade). My simplest fix would be to rollback the change - or, as you say, re-edit in a text editor.
Thank you! (although I'm not fixed yet).
Mike.

I called my ISP's support. The person moved my theme to a different directory. Then I could logon as Admin, bring in a new copy of the theme, and activate it. I still had the content, but had to re-apply my GOOD changes.
Fixed.
Thanks again, macmanx.
