a mobile landing page for 2010

I am really lost. I need to make a nice simple mobile landing page. I was thinking of something along the lines of the name of my business which reflects my services ideally and a button to call us and another to enter the standard site, i was considering an opt in button for them to leave an email or linkin so that we could deliver a monthly blog on the things to look for based on season and trends. I can not imagine any one wanting to browse our mobile site.
I had thought it would be simple enough i’ll just use a plugin and downloaded WordPress Mobile Pack but that converts the whole site, and to be honest it is just not close to what a prospective customer would want or what I feel they would want ie a fast loading name and phone number, with the possibility of a special offer to encourage that call.
