• I downloaded Bad Behavior yesterday as a way to combat the bots that have been hitting my Subscribe2 plugin. This morning, I woke up to see that 275 attempts to reach my site were blocked in a single night. The most frequent reason for blocking entries was “Required Header ‘Accept’ Missing.”

Meanwhile, the number of bots that got through to hit my email subscription list was a bit higher than it had been recently.

I may be mistaken, but it seems as though Bad Behavior was blocking a lot of legitimate users from getting to my site, while allowing actual bots to walk right in.

Any explanation or assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
