    Hey Hey Folks,

    So here's the situation...

I'm building a portfolio section for a site that I'm working on. I'm using the jQuery "Quicksand" plugin (http://razorjack.net/quicksand/) to display the different sections of my portfolio.

I have three different sections, projects, sponsors and about that all feature the Quicksand plugin. I have it set up that there are three categories(projects, sponsors, about) and am using tags, to sort them so for example the tags would be Everything, Application, Utilities of the link above.

Would it be easier to have the Categories of Project, Sponsors and About all have 4 or 5 subcategories in order to sort them better.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Simon

I don't fully understand what you're trying to do, but as far as organizing sections/pages, etc., I personally find that categories are the ways to go. If you need extended support, you can look at custom taxonomies, though in your case I think categories are good.

    Thanks, I'll try and re-explain...

I have a one-page layout for a website. On that one page I have four different sections(Blog, Projects, Sponsors, About). Each one of these sections have the "Quicksand" plug in feature. Very similar to this theme.

In this theme you'll notice in the portfolio section there are some "tags" in the top left corner. Used to sort the different sub-categories/tags that are in that main category of Portfolio.

So in plain English... I want 4 individual loops, going through the main categories, inside of each of those loops display all the sub categories of the category that your currently in.

Been looking at this for multiple loops on the same page.

    Thanks for the help!

    Cheers,
    Simon
