[resolved] "a href" tags stop working after 2 on Page (6 posts)

I created a Page called "Downloads" for my humor/satire site.

Strange thing - the first two "a href=" tags work fine, after that - the text of the tag is there, but it is not actually a working hypertext link.

    Thoughts? Here is the page:

Have you tried putting the entire uri in instead of the virtual one?

There's a fair number of errors on the page and oddly "mis-nested" html tags. Along with some attributes only partially wrapped in double quotes.

You might want to validate that page and fix some of those -- I imagine that'll get 'er back in shape.

For a list of those validation errors, see here.

I did try the absolute URLs rather than the relative and it did not seem to change. I'll review the coding of that Page.

    [Walks off, checks coding, cringes]

I'm a nitwit - this is what I get for multiple pastes from one copy. Many of my "p align=left" needed their closing quotation marks. And - duh - now it works.

You know - I even have the HTML Validator plug-in on Firefox, and I didn't think to review it that way.

    Thanks for the quick help!

Note: This is the first anything in WordPress that threw me - this software has worked like a charm - for a newbie like me.
