    Hi,

I want to create a custom page and put it into my site. The page will be written in php, and will be called galleries.php.

i don't want to create it in wordpress, as I need full control over the code, there will be some advanced php going into it.

I know how to create the page and everything, but is there a way for the nav to call this page without hardcoding it into the template files?

Could just create (Links->Add new) a link to it.

Or create a page that links to it--similar to this technique:
How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?

Ok, so can I just create a html/ php page and put it into my theme folder and it would then work if i typed in the url or would it need to go into the root?
