[resolved] #_EVENTIMAGE{x,y} don't work on multisite subsites (4 posts)

    I have wordpress 3.4.2 installed and using multisite. #_EVENTIMAGE{x,y} doesn't work on my subsite when I use this place holder in the formatting tab on admin section. The images don't appear. Is anyone else getting this problem, and does anyone know of any solutions. I've used:

    {has_image} <img src=" #_EVENTIMAGEURL" width="100px" height="80px" border="0px" />{/has_image}

    But this loads in the full size image, and where I'm displaying a list of events, it would slow the website down and consume unnecessary bandwidth

    hi,

    do you have a sample link for us to see and can I know what EM version is this?If the latter, make sure you have the right permissions in your uploads folder (e.g. like with wordpress)

    I'm running:
    events manager 5.2.5
    wordpress 4.3.2 (running multisite)

    I only running on localhost, so can't supply any links

    I checked out the image source on the subsite, and it makes use of timthumb.php scripts. Not sure if this helps. The html image tag source is: http://localhost/events-community/cn/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/includes/thumbnails/timthumb.php?src=http://localhost/events-community/cn/files/2012/09/000798-image0.jpg&h=80&w=100

    I've check the permissions on blogs.dir, and it's writable alongside all the subfolders, but still no image appears

    try viewing the image directly, timthumb will give you a meaningful error if possible.
