How to writte directly into category, or how to make a presentation menu categ.

Hi,

I have a news blog, it will have many posts for sure, but I have a menu category that will present the site itself, so when people will click that Portofolio menu, I need to have pure text and images, I dont need people to see a post which they have to click on it, just by click Portofolio to load directly the text/images content I need. I just dont know how to do it, the only way right now is to create a post which will look like one and I dont want this.
