Heyo
First of all, I'm so glad for all the effot the WP team have put into the new version. (:
As like always, I followed Upgrading instructions, to be more specific, I followed this set: http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress#Upgrade_2.0.4_to_2.0.5 (I hope this is fine. =/)
However, when I logged into my admin, upgrade.php didn't load. I then entered the URL manually into my browser to do so - is that fine?
Btw, I was upgrading 2 blogs and the same thing occured. I'm just wondering if it's okay to leave it as it is. (:
Yes. Same here. I did everything as usual, but it went straight to 2.0.6 without having to run upgrade.php
Is this ok?
The database doesn't have major changes with every version. So if it doesn't tell you that you need to upgrade when you go to the admin screen, then don't worry about it.
If you're interested, there's a version number for the DB in the version.php file. When that number increases with a new release, it'll detect it, and tell you to upgrade. If it hasn't increased, you don't need to upgrade. :)

Thanks for explaining that, this is my first time I'm upgrading, so I was a little worried when I wasn't prompted to update the changes.

Thanks for the info. I'd suggest in that case that the wording in the upgrade page
http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress#Upgrade_2.0.5_to_2.0.6
(and others) be changed. It simply says, "you will be prompted to click on the link to upgrade", and not "If necessary, you will be prompted..."
Ahh okays. Thanks a lot guys! (:
