Flash or animated gif?

    I added an animated gif to mine: 10in30.com

    and I set it to loop, doing some “monkey math” to try to time it so that it starts on frame one every time the slideshow loops, but as you may have imagined, the timing is way off LOL.

    Any way to make an animated gif start from the beginning every time it displays? Or better yet – Flash?

    No, definitely not Flash. You can technically use animated GIFs as slides, but the slide images are all loaded at the same time, so the animations on the other slide images will start right away.

    If you wanted animation, you would have to use real text, adding captions to the slides with a custom slideshow template, and then animating the text with jQuery.
