• hi All

If i have 2 or 3 local installs on Wamp called e.g /wp1 , wp2 ,wp3 …How do i get rid of the wp1 , wp2 , wp3 at the end or will they always be there if i have more than one install on a specific server.?
    e.g localhost/wp1 or localhost/wp2 and so on.
    regards

    Robert Mccoll

  • I’m not sure if WAMP has this feature by default, but normally you need to edit the hosts and set virtual hosts for every subsite. A virtual host corresponds to a specific folder of your site where you can map it with an existing (or fake) domain for the sake of your tests by letting your local DNS resolver that a domain should lead to your Apache within some folder.

More about virtual hosts in WAMP (Windows) environment – here .
