Text slide not showing, 404 on jquery.js file

    So I’ve been having issues with this plugin suddenly. At first I was able to get both a photo slide and a text slide in no problem and they would show on separate slides.

    When I changed some settings and attempted to show the slide in the widget area I started getting issues with the text not showing and nothing showing in the footer area of my widgets. Yet the footer area did increase in hight but show nothing.

    Also, I noticed that there is an error being thrown. It’s looking for the http://www.url…/test-page/jquery.js. I have the wp_footer() being called properly in the footer page. There is even a script in the header for src=”jquery.js” yet I’m having these odd issues.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Someone else had the same problem a couple of days ago. He as well couldn’t see the text on his text slides either, yet they worked on his posts and pages.

    The 404 you’re getting doesn’t sound like anything that should be caused by Slideshow, but if you could provide a link to your website I’d be willing to have a look at it.

    I’ve actually covered the issues.

    The 404 was from a poor theme design.

    The text not showing up was due to a weird footer/widget issue. It’s been fixed.
