Feature request: Media Library: Links Tiles

    Hi there!

    Two suggestions for media library features:
    – The link used when inserting the image should be stored/editable in the media library
    – When selecting an image from the library, a tile matrix (images only) would be great.

    Reason: I’m using images just for the “mood” of the posting. So a post about product A always gets image A1 or A2 and always links to PageA. A post about product B always gets image B1 or B2 and always links to PageB.

    The features noted about would be a time saver.

    (If anybody knows a trick / plugin to achieve the these things, please do post it.)

    Sorry, what? The link used is the location of the image. Chage to what?

    When selecting an image from the library, a tile matrix (images only) would be great.

    The img-url has to point to the image of course. But I’d like to store a preconfigured a-href-url along with the image in the media library. Reason: An image of product A always points to the product-A-webpage in my blog.

    Ahhh. Okay for that first one you need a plugin, no matter what, because you’re asking for a very specific one-off thing. It could be done, but it’s specialized.

    As for the second, yes, I’m very excited for it as well!
