I’ve not seen a plugin that can do this but, in theory, it should be possible via a custom query using the post_type parameter.
Thanks for your suggestion. I’m a newbie to WP and will need to get my head around the custom query and parameters, do you happen to know of any other way to archive revisions?
Off the top of my head, nothing that relates to publishing such an archive – although if you are trying to create an admin audit trail, there are a few useful plugins in http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=revision
Thanks esmi, what I want is to provide the users with an archive of the post revisions, but it seems to me that all the archive plug-ins etc will only archive individual posts. On my site I have a Titled post page which has to be updated weekly. I understand I cannot re-post each week using the same title so have been revising the original post. Hence my question. If you have any ideas of how I can achieve the overall objective I’d be pleased to see them. Thanks.

I would like to have a Footer Widget showing “Archive” and have the revisions appear in date order on their own post or page.
I could possibly give you the code for the custom query but giving you instructions of how to build a custom widget that could do this is really beyond the scope of these forums. Are you able to create your own custom page template?
Thanks for your offer esmi, I am not a programmer and coding is on my ‘to learn’ list so not yet can I either create a widget other than using the Theme Widget options in a plug-in, nor have I yet learned how to adjust, amend php to achieve what I want. Next course of study!! I had hoped there might be a simple way to achieve it but it looks as though I’ll have to go back to the drawing board. Maybe entering a fresh post each week adding the date to the title might allow existing Archive plug-ins to pick up, providing WP accepts such a minor change as a fresh post.
Just wondering if a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/organize-series/ would help. You could then post each update as a new post.

You should only need to create template files if you want to customise the output of the plugin. Out of the box, it should automatically pick up your category.php or archive.php template files and use these to generate the final list. If that doesn’t suit your needs, then, yes, you’d need to create a custom template (as the plugin FAQ describes) using a plain text editor like Text Wrangler and upload the finished template file to your theme’s folder (i8n wp-content/themes) using Filezilla.

Hi esme, My temporary solution is to create an Archives menu with categories for the subjects I want to add to my archives. Then use a widget to load the menu onto the Footer under a heading Archives. Now I create new post each time with only the date as a title and add it to the appropriate category when it’s replaced. This seems to be working so far although a little convoluted. At least it buys me time to figure out another solution.
