User Upload question

    I am managing a community blog for a research lab and they want to be able to upload files as well as make new categories and links. I would be more than happy to give them all that, but I don’t want them to be admins (as the options would surely be overwhelming for most). How can I give users the privilege to make links, categories, and to upload files?

    hi
    as u know user premissions r with numbers !
    just change the level 4 uploading to 1 or 2 in options and make them 1 or 2 in level !
    so they r not admin ( they have a few privilages ) and they can upload files 😉

    thanks a lot! That solved one problem. Anybody have an idea on how to allow categories and links tabs through permissions? Thanks!

    😉
    There is a links_minadminlevel in options–>link manager that works as upload premission 😉
    But i dont know if there is 4 categories or not 😉
