Facebook crawls the site, and it is unpredictable if – and if so – which thumbs are found. I have recently been working on this, but my conclusion is that it does not matter how complete the link is you supply, the ‘intellect’ of facebook is beyond human understanding. Its a pity, but in my eyes it is impossible to share a single image to facebook using addthis; you can only share the site.
The querystring is ignored, one may be glad if the selected slide is in the thumbnail selection.

Example: go to this page, click a filmstrip image so you scroll at least one image, and try to share on facebook.

It drove me almost crazy last week, but i am afraid you (and i) will have to live with it.

The need to scroll one image will be fixed in next version.

yey.. i’m happy to help you with something
i have a plugin called “facebook thumbnail generator” in other website
    it adds
    ‘<link rel=”image_src” href=”url-.to-image” />’
    and
    ‘<meta property=”og:image” content=”url-to-image” />’
    in the “head section”
so facebook and others can find the thumbnail to the image
hope it helps (you and me)
