Images uploaded on server But WP isn't finding them

I’m working on fixing some bugs on our site and upgrading the site on a test server. I’m using the old content and have placed the content in the testing stage folder. But the images aren’t showing up nor is WP properly locating the images because they aren’t showing up in the media library. Anyone have some thoughts?
