    DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

I subscribed after reviewing all the cool-looking themes and plugins they provide. Since I’m not a programmer, I really liked how they said they act as an outsourced programming team.

    They don’t.

Nothing works. The “guaranteed” plugins don’t work or suck up a huge amount of bandwidth. The themes don’t work.

Nothing looks the way it does in the examples.

You MUST be a programmer to use their products. Support consists of “Let me ask the person who programmed the plugin and get back to you.”

And when you let your subscription lapse, any plugin you may still be using seems to generate a giant red message on your dashboard that says

“Please install the latest version of our free Update Notifications plugin which helps you stay up-to-date with the most stable, secure versions of WPMU DEV themes and plugins. More information »”

I know because it is currently showing on my website.

The last time I complained to them they offered me 50% off.

WPMUDEV.ORG IS EITHER A SCAM/AND OR COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. STAY AWAY!

I have to disagree. I’ve been a WPMU DEV member for over 2 years now and their plugins power a lot of what I do. My relationship with them has been positive and their products have become mission-critical for the sites and services I build. My experience with them has been good, but you do need to be comfortable tinkering in code a little.

They specialize in creating plugins that let you deliver a white label product to your client, so don’t get alarmed at the above poster’s complaint about warning messages. There are ways to remove them.

I don’t use their themes (their themes seem a little old these days as they tend to focus more on plugins), but most of their plugins are a lot more complex than the kinds you find for free here in the repository. That means you’ve got be willing to dig in and figure it out and not expect it always to be smooth out-of-the-box. I am absolutely not a programmer, I can’t even read a line of php and understand what it means, but I have not had any problems implementing any plugins the sell and I’ve experimented with most of them and I think that the money I spend on my membership with them is worth every penny (though I do take advantage of discounts when I find them).

Now, as to your question. The plugin you mentioned looks to be a solid solution to what you are looking for. I’ve looked at it myself for an enterprise project that I’ve got coming up that could make very good use of it. I haven’t tested it, but if it does what it says it does, then you would probably do well with it.
