    Great plugin!

I’m using the latest version on a new site. Unlike other sites where I’m actively using it, this time the various notifications (like subscription confirmations) are sent not from the designated email address but from the webmaster’s hosting account — an account that was never entered on the plugin’s settings, and is only used by the hosting service.

At the same time, other websites I have — all hosted on same hosting account — continue to send messages from their designated email addresses. So I don’t believe it’s a hosting service problem.

Is it possible that somewhere in the plugin the designated email address didn’t register properly so the system is defaulting to a ‘higher level’ address, as if there’s no email address specified?

    Thank you again!

  • @jf,

So, for that particular domain, are there any email address in existence? If there are, are any of these associated with users of the site blog?

If this is the case choose just such a user as the sender of the notification in the Settings page of Subscribe2. If not, seriously consider creating an on-domain email account and using that address for sending.

This problem appears to have been caused by server-side settings. I hope it is now solved.

    Thank you again!
