I have my group blog at http://motorcyclebloggers.com and have a problem. The background is simple - its a blog about motorcycles with several contributors on the same topic. Early on, I created all of their Bio's and changed the author from me to them.
It seems that these contributors cannot create a Page...just me. This is cumbersome for my situation since these Bios are updates often for various reasons (new bike, moved, etc.). Is there a way I can enable registered users to create or at least edit a Page.
I was on the phone with a contributor tonight and he does not show a "Write Page" in the editor and does not have an "Edit" link when he views his Bio. That was news to me, so here I am.
Thanks a lot,
Bob

Thanks. I did a search, but apparently not the right one.

Hmmm...there is no documentation for the install of Role Manager at the link http://redalt.com/wiki/Role+Manager. Anywhere I can find this so that I install it correctly?
Red Alt hit a server crash a few months back...
Drop all the files for it in its own directory under plugins, such as:
wp-content/plugins/role-manager
Then go into Plugins in your admin and activate it. Admin accounts should then see a 'Roles' subpanel under Users.
Role Manager is discussed a lot on the forums, so:
http://wordpress.org/search/Role+Manager?forums=1
should hopefully cover a lot of the questions you might have about it.
