[Plugin: GRAND FlAGallery] Couldn't load the Color XML file.Error #1009

    i migrated my site from a test server wordpress that runs from turnkeylinux on my local server to our hosting

    everything is transfered sql and files the site pads and names modified and everything runs ok.

    except for the gallery. i get tho the point that i can see the gallery in my post.everything is set ok.

    but when it loads it gives the Couldn’t load the Color XML file.Error #1009 error.

    funny that the fiels are the same on my local server it runs fine on the webserver i get this error

    anybody can help ?

    I would check permissions in the first instance and then file ownership. If you have only owner : read permission on the XML file (eg rwx——) but the web server runs as the group then it won’t open. Also, check the error log (/var/logs ?) which will give you more info about the #1009 error. If you’re using Cpanel it’s easy to open the Apache error log. This is definitely a hosting environment issue and not related to the plugin itself (IMO that is).

    hey markpea thanks for the reply. do you know where the xml file is located ?

    we have multiple wordpress installations on the webhost. grand flash gallery works for all of them

    sub domain 2

    /b4b works.
    /b4bnieuw does not and gives this error. i set the permisions 755 for all.

    I myself have the same problem with this ‘Couldn’t load the Color XML file.Error #1009’ appearing in centre of slideshow.
    It doesn’t work here http://billywatson.tv/2012/malcolm-hardee-comedy-awards-2011/

    But works on my primary domain here: http://antalyaliving.com/blog/antalya-aquarium-snow-world/

    I spoke to hostgator and they said it was a plug in issue.

    Any ideas?
