Post Author Comment Moderation Notification

    The moderate comments feature only notifies the admin via email of comments awaiting moderation and does not notify the post authors.

    I’ve read through the forum, changed user levels of authors added multiple admins however, the system will only notify the one admin email found in Options>General.

    Is this a bug?

    Is there a plugin or hack?

    The author (User) of the article will be notified of comments. Check the email of the Author in Users, Authors & Users.

    Are the comments being held for moderation?

    Checked email, is correct.

    Yes, comments are being held fine.

    Authors get notified once I(the admin) accept the post however, I would like Authors of the post to receive the comment moderation notifications in order to moderate the comments on their posts.

    I agree shoshumi, It only makes sense that the person that the comment is for should be the one to approve or deny it. Anybody have any ideas on how to accomplish this?

    I tried using the Role Manager plugin but then the authors have full reign over comment moderation, not just theirs.
