   Hi

   I have been running the search "site:www.yoururl.com or site:yoururl.com" on Google and see that on the search results posts have been indexed as "Comments on:whatever is in post title".

   My question is how on Wordpress I can edit "Comments on" to some other text or perhaps reverse it to "whatever is in post title:Comments".

   I have searched on the forum but can't shake out any reference to this (or can't find a reference that I recognise could provide the answer!!) and would appreciate some help with this request.

   Not quite sure what you're referring to without a link, but if it's the page titles, you could try the Optimal Title plugin.

   What I want to do is hack WP to change how the Comments on Posts are indexed.

   So on Google a cooment on a post is seen in a search as

   Planning Applications at 1 Southend Road Hockley:Comments
   http://www.girltalk.pcs-net.com/rol/planning-applications-at-1-southend-road-hockley/ Welcome to Rochford District Online, Community Information covering ...

   Hi again

   I thought that I would look at the question I had asked and see if I could simplify it. Here goes !!

   Wordpress adds "Comments to:" to Comments when they are "posted". Although these words do not show on your Wordpress Site, the do appear when the comment is indexed by Google.

   How and where does Wordpress add this please?
