• Hi,

is it possible to put 2 email addresses (of 2 different administrators) in the ‘OPTIONS’ > ‘General Options’ > ‘Email address’ field?

We both want to be notified by email when there have been made new comments, on old or new posts, whatever. Can I activate this function for both administrators?

    Thanks for any help 🙂

    Does somebody know the solution?

    No need for double posting.
Your other thread about the same question will be deleted.

I’ve been looking for an answer to the same question, and it doesn’t seem like there’s a good way to do it inside of wordpress.

Here’s one way that seems to work, if you have access to your database (although it’s not a proper solution, IMHO):
Using something like phpMyAdmin to access your database, you can go into the “options” table and change the value of “admin_email” to contain both addresses, separated by a comma. Like “adminaddress1@example.com,adminaddress2@example.com”.

There’s got to be better way than that, though…

anyone have a solution to this?

I’m looking to do the same thing.

Anyone know of a plugin? I also have the same issue where I have a blog run by multiple authors and they all want to be notified when a single post gets commented on.
