  • the url’s for your ‘blog’ and for ‘wordpress’ should match – for example http://www.buildyourlifetoorder.com/

the wordpress static front page plugins and wp index.php take care of everything else. i’m using the same plugin for demo/development purposed at http://sandbox.hradil.us

if you fix the url’s and activate the plugin correctly you should be fine.

oops! i done what you said and changed them both to

    http://www.buildyourlifetoorder.com

and took off the /wordpress and now its all gone wrong, click on the link to see what has happened. I cant get logged into my admin either.

weaver, I had the same problem myself on my blog a couple of times before and one of the moderators on here, pointed me to an online guide that cleared the problem…
check out the following link … http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

    hope that helps!

ok got my website back. Activated the static home page plugin and its fine but I would like a link in the top menu that says ‘blog’. There is the ‘last entries’ section on the sidebar but i would really like a blog link in my menu at the top, anyone know how to go about this?
