• Is there a plugin that will track changes and notify an admin by email anytime a post or page is added, edited, changed from draft, changed back to draft, deleted, etc.?

  • I’d think that would generate a lot of annoying emails very quickly, but maybe that’s just me.

I found this plugin via Google search: http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/audit-trail/

But I’ve never used it myself, so I can’t vouch for it.

I’d be fine with a cron job that ran every night that would summarize the following:

    • Pages/Posts drafts added
    • Pages/Posts deleted
    • Pages/Posts published
    • Pages/Posts reverted to Draft
    • Changes to Media Library
    • Change in number of Pages/Posts/Media Library objects

Is there anything that already exists that does anything remotely close to this?

I have a client asking for this too! WebDev22, have you heard of any plugins with those functions?

I just saw Audit Trail, but it hasn’t been updated in quite a while, so I’m wondering if anyone has used it and has feedback…

I haven’t actually use this plug-in yet, but I have used one by the same developer and can vouch for the quality of his work.
