    Hi,

Awesome plugin! I really want to buy the Facebook add-on, but I need to resolve a CSS issue first. It seems the plugin isn’t inheriting the CSS from my theme like it should:

There should be a white background behind the calendar like on this page (no, there’s no content there yet…still under development):

I’ve looked for a solution in this forum and in the forum on your site, and I’ve seen some people with similar issues, but couldn’t find a solution that seemed to address my specific needs.

The theme I’m using is called Hoarder by Themezilla. Please let me know if there’s any other info I can provide to reach a solution faster.

If I can figure this out, I am definitely planning on buying the Facebook add-on.

    Thanks,
    -Dave

    Hey guys,

Just checking in on this request again. I know I’m not a paying customer, but I want to be…just need to make sure this works with my template.

    Thanks,
    -Dave

Hey dgladney. Thanks for the note here. We usually check the dot-org forum here once a week, and I’ve been working through it on my pass last night/today. Happy to take a look and try to advise you on this best I can.

Did you pull the calendar down? It looks to be directing me to the homepage, but either way – my first bit of advice would be to try the different template options under Events -> Settings. Have you explored the different options on the dropdown, checked those on the frontend? That could resolve the issue without any need to touch the CSS.

Let me know if not and we can try to point you in the right direction from there. If you haven’t reached out to the theme dev yet as well, it might be good to cover that angle too…if they notice something we’re doing that goes against best practices, we’ll of course patch that up.

I have the same issue here with the background that lost the white and I know the template is transparent but I want the calendar to have white background for the page. Also lost my nav??

I know design is crazy but I am working on this so in progress.
    Thanks
    Jen

I think we got a similar issue here.
The calendar page looks cool. Adjusted the stylesheet for list view, which looks cool to now. But when clicking on a single event; a grey page turns up, with just the name of the event, nothing more then that.
Been searching for hours now but cannot find a solution.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for my slow reply here. I just downloaded the update and that seems to have taken care of whatever CSS issue I’m having. I purchased the FB Events add-on and am having some trouble there, but I’ve posted to the support forum on the Tribe site.

Thanks again for your response and for a great plugin.

Hey Dave. Thanks for the follow-up here; no worries at all about the slow reply. Awesome to here the 2.0.10 build did the trick on this CSS issue.

DigOrange and Sakshin: can you confirm whether you had the same behavior? 2.0.10 came out after both of your posts, so I’m wondering if the update will do the trick. Let me know and we can try to troubleshoot as needed from there.

Since nobody has posted on here in a couple weeks now, I’m guessing this is resolved for everyone who was having a problem. Going to mark it as such but feel free to add a comment if you disagree.
