• Hello,

We made a small mistake and deleted our menu structure – we are marketers not web developers unfortunately!

We’ve managed to reconstruct the menu system and publish it as part of our custom theme but the menus are now orientated on the left hand side when they were previously centred!

Does anyone know how we centre it again??

    Website is: http://www.search-star.co.uk

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Did you touch any css?

No. We were only playing with our menu structure in Appearances -> Menu. The menu we had got accidentally deleted.

We re-built it. Added it to our custom theme again using the custom menu widget.

Which part of the CSS is being problematic? How could we have damaged that with the actions we took?

No, this looks like a css problem but since you didn’t touch it, it can’t be.

Are you sure you didn’t do anything else, f.e. adding a plugin?

    Hi Peter,

No other plugins were added. Before that all we did was add a new page to our blog.

Can you think of any plugin in particular that might negatively impact on it? Perhaps we can delete the offending object.

If not that, do you know where the CSS is that might be wrong and what I might need to add to alter the menu positioning?

Thanks for your help it’s much appreciated.

    I’m not finding the problem.

I’m thinking, easiest solution: get original developer or designer to fix it?

We’ve finally been able to get hold of her so hopefully it will be solved soon.

Thank you for all your help though Peter it was very kind of you to give up your time.

    Have a nice evening.
