• Good morning!

Trying to solve a problem but had no luck yet in searching for a solution.

We have a WP Network setup, using subfolders. It works perfectly using subfolders. The problem is that when you go to the root domain (such as http://mysite.com), WP ends up in a redirect loop.

I do want some sort of landing page for that root domain (without a subfolder) but wanted to see if it was possible, since it appears not to be if there is a redirect loop. Do I have to create a new subfolder and then somehow redirect the traffic to the root domain over to that subfolder?

The htaccess rules are correct, as pasted from the WP setup. We even recreated the htaccess file to be certain. I am just wondering if the directives in htaccess simply do not allow access to the root directory like that.
