    support issue.

    • We are experiencing an event has expired from the Upcoming events quick link from the home page.
    • However if you access from the main event page it works but sometimes it intermittently does the same.

Second, If we upgrade does your solution retain our existing events history or does it act as a completely new plugin?

    Please advise ASAP.

  • Hi there tseward. Thanks for the note; for the first issue, are you saying the event is showing an “Already passed” message on the frontend? If not, can you elaborate on what you mean by “expired”? You might want to check your WordPress time settings, right off the bat, as those are what control how the calendar operates…

Regarding the second…your current events will be retained. Basically the PRO build is an add-on plugin, that – when activated alongside the current release of The Events Calendar – extends its functionality by adding those PRO-exclusive features.

Hope this helps. Let me know about that first point and whether you have follow-up questions on the second.

I have the same problem like tseward, in the event list and kalender everything is displayed correctly, the upcoming events are at the corrects days in the calendar. But some of the evententry linking to the places of the event, not the event itself, and it tells me that the event is over already, but its in the far away future (more than multiple days) so i doubt its a missconfiguration of the timezone settings.

I have to figure out if its a plugin conflict or not. But maybe you have an hint for me, whats going wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

We are using version 2.0.9 of the plugin. An example can be found here http://www.uterus-myomatosus.net/events. The event http://www.uterus-myomatosus.net/event/medica-congress-top-medizin-kompakt-vermittelt/ is redirected to the location http://www.uterus-myomatosus.net/ort/messe-dusseldorf-gmbh and it tells that the event is expired already.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi k____k. Thanks for the note here, and sorry to hear you’re having problems. As I never heard back from the original poster here I’m sort of taking a shot in the dark with this; but can you let me know A) whether this happens with the newest 2.0.10 release, and B ) if it also occurs when the site is NOT translated away from English?

We can try to troubleshoot for you from there.

Since I never got a follow-up from you, k___k, I’m going to close this thread by marking it Resolved. Let me know if you have any remaining questions and I’ll do my best to assist.

Sorry I never got the early reply posts. I dont think it works correctly but we found a work around to make it work we place the follow structure in the slug which works year-month-description.

I dont know why it works but it does. If we dont put this in the link to the full details page shows as expired.

    Hope this helps.
