Adipoli jQuery Image Hover Plugin

I am trying to install and make it work the Adipoli plugin.Fortunately i managed after reading so many posts through the web were the files css and js have to be placed ( i hope i did it right – i placed them in the themes directory in folders css and js respectively ). As you realize i am not experienced user-developer. We all have to start from somewhere :). But i am still facing trouble with the code, both the one goes to the header.php and the the one is used to invoke the plugin (i place the code in the HTML editor having set my page to Default Template). I have also tried several other ways and tutorials but none was good enough for me to over come this issue. Could anyone please help me cause i am trying to solve this a week now and i am already behind my schedule.
