    Hello,

I’m building a new blog and previous to that I had no knowledge about blogging.
I didn’t know where to start from so I learned how to use google’s blogger. I soon realized that was not what I needed (I’m trying to build a sort of a corporate website for my psychology practice).

Then I moved to wordpress.com and learn how to build a blog with that tool (my blog at wordpress.com is http://www.mindfullife.cat).

Now I find that this is not what I’m looking for my site either. It has two basic problems 1) I can’t upload external templates 2) I can not sell anything on that blog (e.g. I can not use amazon to promote books that i have read and recommend to my clients or readers)

I think the answer to both problems may be wordpress.org but I have my douts, bassically because I know nothing about coding. So, my questions are:

-Knowing that I more or less know my way around wordpress.com, is it easy to make the move to wordpress.org? even if I don’t know anything about coding?.

-If I have to learn code, like CSS, how long would that take me and is it worth the investment in time?

I understand this questions are somewhat subjective; I just would like to know your opinion and what alternatives do you think I have to solve the limitations I’m finding with wordpress.com.

    Thank you,

    Tomeu
