    Hi Josh,
    At first Great Plugin!
I would definitely get you a coffee. It was highly recommended on Suffusion support so I decided to give a try.
For some reason after setting up the slides (with a # for links) and a new show and make the widget active on the Site everything was working OK in terms of transitions (zoom was my case) from the settings.
As soon as I went to update the links under each individual slide with proper hyperlinks it defaults back to ‘fade’, buttons for navigation are gone.
If I go back to settings and try different transitions nothing is updated.
    I would appreciate your help.
Site is here: Racing In Focus
    Thanks,

    Radu

Thanks Radu, I can see that it is set to zoom, but is still fading. My guess is that you have another slideshow using the same jQuery Cycle script and overriding it.

Try using metadata in the widget and see if that works any better:

    fx: 'zoom'

Thanks Josh for your fast response.
I’ll try that, but I doubt about another jQuery Cycle running.
As I said, everything was working fine originally with ‘#’ for the links for each slide. I was also able to do changes under settings for different transitions and they were reflected right away on the site.
As soon as I’ve updated the slides with the actual hyperlinks it went back to fade and the buttons disappeared. Any new changes on settings are not reflected.
Do I have to enter the hyperlink from the beginning, when I create a new slide?

    Regards,

    Radu

Used your recommendation into the meta field but doesn’t work either.

No, you can freely edit the slides and add links whenever you want. The NextGen Gallery plugin is adding a copy of jQuery Cycle as well for its slideshows. Try deactivating that plugin to confirm that there is a conflict, or try deactivating any other plugins you have running and test those.
