Basically i'm trying to setup WP as a very simple site allowing the user to add the odd article etc.

I have created the site using categories (for the pages that will be updated by the owner) and pages for the the "static" content.

An example of the categories would be "Fundraising" and it would have sub categories of "2004,2005,2006" and another category would be "news articles" again divided into years.

What i'm wanting the site to do is when the viewer navigates to the "fundraising page" is for the sub categories to appear in the side bar under a title "submenu", but only the subcategories for this main category and not a list of all the subcatagories available.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks, seems like it may be useful, but it still seems that all of the categories are constantly displayed, but i only want the corresponding subcategories to the main one displayed, thanks
