Wp Content Name Changed | Impact on SEO

    I am using plugin wp better security and in this plugin there is an option to change wp content name, I renamed it to wp xombi and it was done successfully. Now I am feeling that my new posts after this update are not ranking well in google, infact they are not in search at all. While before this update they are always on first 2 pages in search. Please tell me if i have done a mistake by changng my wp content name and is there any impact on seo by doing this?
    I have changed it just to secure my blog, because somebody was attacking it again and again.
