  • Good Morning, what a beautiful day it is. Enjoy

    I had wanted to change the background color of my page from white to tan. It was suggested to me to make a child theme of GoPress. Which with very good support from here I did. Questions;

Do I need to Activate The New Theme?
When I activate the child theme all my changes that I made to the menus are gone. (Which makes sense) do I need to re-do the menus when I active the child theme. (it’s ok if I do, just want to know if I’m on the right track here. I’m having such a difficult time.
basically I just want to customize the color schemes of the site.
Background page from white, Border of page, footer and side bars.
Should I just copy the entire style sheet from GoPress into my new child style sheet to make the changes. thank you in advanced, I have been working on this for days, YES, not to quick with this stuff.
I have used WordPress many times before, but I have never changed the style beford.

Can you post here (and wrap in backticks) the code from your Child Theme stylesheet?

I’m sorry but as you are using a parent theme that is behind a “tweet wall”, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers directly.

OH NO, what’s a tweet wall?
I’m working on a restaurant theme, can you recommend a wordpress them for that.

Their customer support stinks at wpexlporer
    thanks brie

It’s impossible to download the theme without first tweeting about it.

I’m sorry but we do not support themes like this as we cannot gain direct access to them. It is not our place to keep these theme developers in business.

I did not expect you to support a product that is not yours, I thought gopress was a wordpress theme, because I downloaded it from the theme menu.

    thanks,

I have no clue what to do now.
    What themes do you support?
    Thankyou
    Brie

Sorry. It is not our place to deprive theme vendors of any income that they may derive from support services.
