• I have upgraded to version 2.0.5 and now I am having
major problems with close to all themes, they are not
showing any graphics (and no sidebar), my dashboard
and the admin in WordPress are also not showing right.

I did the upgrade myself and I have probably done
something wrong. I have actually only found one free
    theme that really works.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

    Regards,
    Jens

  • Well Jen’s, it depends. Some older themes may not work too well. Go and find a new theme or two and see how they go. In the dashboard is a link to many many themes.

I have tried a lot of different themes, so I don´t think that this is the problem. Because my dashboard and admin section is also not showing correct.

And I am not sure, but all the themes I am using works well when I use another blog running on wordpress 2.0.2

Can we get a URL to the blog please? It almost sounds like some stuff wasn’t uploaded correctly..? =/

    My blog is located at:

    http://www.mlmforums.net

… but at the moment I am using the only theme that works. Should I upload another theme for you to see what the problems are?

I have Xampp running 2 home, and run 2.0.5. I did not found one problem with themes. Perhaps its like spencerp says.

I managed to backup my database, and then removed all
files from the wordpress installation. Then I installed
    wordpress 2.0.5 from fantastico.

Then I replaced the wp config file to relate to my old
database, and now everything is working 🙂

I am not sure what went wrong earlier on.

Happy to hear that! 🙂 Can this be marked as [Resolved] now, or..? 😉 🙂
