Hello, looking for some honest feedback on Medimise. I have used a free theme and kept it all pretty simple, just adding my logo. Using the exerpt boxes with images for the homepage. Hoping in time to add a lot more content and make it another family health info site. Long way to go, but we all start somewhere.

For now I am looking for general feedback – does it work for you? Does it look too generic etc? Colours may not work, not sure myself. I may ditch the discussion / comments widget as all the discussion has been on one page it seems, so it a bit pointless.

The sand-paper background texture doesn’t work for the health theme, however the top banner’s pattern reminds me of blankets (beds) which does work.

The colour scheme needs to follow through, I.E you should have two or three main colours, not seven or eight.

Good point, I will use the logo colours in the theme – hopefully a quick CSS job.

OK, colour changes and a favicon added.

Will see if I can reduce the line heights in the common issues list.

    Validation will have to wait!

How about a solid beige background colour instead of the sandpaper texture?

I may give that a good. I like the sandpaper, but then, it is not a common style – there could be a reason for that!
