• Hi Ravan, I love your plugin. It works very well and has a lot of intuitive options that make it easy to use.

I’m using the dev version to override viewport resizing, and it works great.

I just have one question: the opacity overlay only covers the viewport when the image enlarges, leaving the screen behind the image blank (or white in my case) when the user scrolls down to view the large image, which is a bit unappealing.

Is there a way to extend the opacity overlay behind the image to cover the viewport even when the user scrolls down? I know I can turn the overlay off in the settings, but if I’d prefer to extend it if I can.

You can see a version here (click the infographic in the bottom right hand corner): http://mtw.pixelsmithdesign.com/

    Cheers,
    A.

  • I see what you mean.

The problem is caused by the fact that the image is larger than the page (not viewport) and how the FancyBox handles the overlay dimensions. Sadly, it’s out of the scope of my WordPress plugin to work around this effect. You’d have to hack the FancyBox script, or find some way to get jQuery to fire an overlay resize when the fancybox content goes ‘outside’ the main page body. IF at all possible…
