forgetful, cant remember plugin name, help

    I just did a clean install of wordpress and re-imported all my old posts. The problem is that this clean install has no plugins and I cant remember the name of the plugin that i used when i wrote all my previous posts. The plugin allowed me to type “text”:http://somelinksomewhere.com in the post editor and it would display as a proper link when the post was published. For the life of my I cant remember this plugin name (it came installed with my original wordpress install years ago). Searching the plugin site has not been useful.

    Sounds like you were using the Textile2 plugin, but that baby hasn’t been updated in over two years. An alternative you could look at is the WP-Markdown plugin. It uses a different syntax but the idea is the same.

    ah thank you. textile was right. and eek didnt realize it was so out of date. since all my old posts were written with textile I will have to install it but I will try using this WP-markdown in the future. thanks again.
