I just installed this pluging the other day and so far I’d give it a big YAY for ease of installation. It’s been easy to style as well, although it’s still early days there. It’ll be a while before I get a chance to unleash it on the public so I’m not sure what it’s like in action (security, spam, etc), although it seems to work fine on the author’s site
I’d previously tried xd-forum — http://www.xdweb.net/wordpress/xdforum2/ — and although it’s lovely from a visual design point of view it seems to have real problems with permalinks and was 404-ing all over the place.
