The changes needed will depend on which theme you are using. Can you provide a link to your site please?

Unfortunately i can’t show you the site since i use a local hosting option plan not international to save cost so only people in my country can access it.
So it’s different for every themes?
I am currently using blue server theme.
http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/blue-server
In the style.css, line 864, you have the following:
#header {
background-image:url(images/header_bg.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
width:910px;
height:232px;
float:left;
}
I would simply get rid of the background image and background repeat and replace it with a solid colour.
To answer your question, yes all themes are different, that’s what makes it so powerful. Unique themes can be crafted to suit all sorts of design.

Laughter. I was going to reply but I had to get off the train. 😉
If you’re up to trying a child theme then follow these steps: create a new directory wp-content/themes/blue-server-child
and put this style.css
file there.
/*
Theme Name: Blue Server Child Theme
Author: Self-Help WordPress User
Template: blue-server
*/
@import url("../blue-server/style.css");
#header {
background-image:url(new-header.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
width:910px;
height:232px;
float:left;
}
In that blue-server-child
directory upload the new-header.jpg
file that you want.
Once that’s done visit your theme page and activate the “Blue Server Child Theme”.
This is usually done to protect you from the possibility that original parent theme gets updated.
In this case that may not happen because that theme has not been updated in over 2 years. If you do create a child theme, think of this as a learning exercise for using WordPress. 😉
