Jetpack – great plugin. I didn’t notice how much I had been relying on it until it broke.

I only noticed about 48 hours later that Jetpack had spontaneously uninstalled itself. This meant no stats, and also no posts being emailed to comment subscribers.

Upon reinstallation and connecting to wordpress.com in order to use Jetpack features, the theme of the site breaks. Images overlap columns and becomes unusable. The moment jetpack is either deactivated (via plugin page) or disconnected from wordpress, the site returns to working layout.

    Any solutions?

    Cheers :).

  • I’m having the same problem. I’m using the P2 theme and when JetPack is active a huge space is inserted between the front page posting area and the existing posts. Is there a fix or must we wait for another update to JetPack?

Yep, I’m having the exact same problem as mizejewski.

In a private blog that I administrate at work – using the P2 theme – upgrading JetPack to 1.8.1 has inserted the huge space in between the posting area and the existing posts.

I’m debating reverting to the last version of the plugin that worked reliably with WordPress 3.4.2 (1.7, I think, since it seems like people had issues with 1.8.0?).

Same here. King size theme, all the pages comes in at one time if the plugin is active, pretty strange…

I open using my desktop with many browser and some of my post are diplayed using mobile themee…
I click “View Full Site” but it doesn’t work…
    Why?

Looks like Jetpack version 1.8.2 fixed the problems I was seeing.

I’m also using P2. The 1.8.2 fixed the space problem.

I see in the update notice they also did a fix on the :subscribe” option. Whatever this was it appears to habe broken subscribe in my P2. 🙁

    Are you seeing that?

Yes, I’m using P2 and Jetpack 1.8.2 and my subscribe updates are NOT going out.

i still have the same problem, 1.8.2 didn’t fixed it

Still no subscribe update emails for me using P2 theme. Anyone know if there might be an update to P2 or Jetpack soon?

Jetpack 1.8.3 should resolve the comment subscription email issue. Please let us know if you are still noticing any issues.

Thanks Tim. Subscription emails working again. Yay!

There is another issue though that was happening after upgrading to Jetpack 1.8.2 and is still happening. When I choose a posting option other than the default (e.g. Blog Post) a huge space is inserted in the posting interface (see attached). The published post looks fine. Let me know if you want me to send you a screen shot.

What theme are you using? I don’t see anything like this happen on my sites.

I’m using the P2 theme. See screenshot of posting interface:

Have you updated the P2 theme? I seem to recall this issue being in P2 recently and being fixed.

My dashboard is not prompting me to update. I’m running P2 Version 1.4.2.
