wrong page name with permalinks

    Hello,

    Finally I turned permalink structure (/%post_id%/) on, in my good old WP 1.5.
    The trouble is it works but misplaces page names – for example, the Home page has /about-us/ address, Contact Us has /portfolio/ address, etc.

    Please let me know how to fix it (the logic). I tried to alter page IDs via PHPMyAdmin to catch the algorythm, but it’s not there…

    Any help much appreciated.

    I suspect you have created (a while ago and you’ve forgotten) a Page with the title “About Us” – which resulted in a slug about-us. Later on, perhaps, you changed the content AND the title of that Page, however, the slug is NOT changing automatically when you change the title.
    To fix: go admin > Manage > Pages and change the “Post slug”.

    You’re absolutely right, thanks! Indeed I forgot I had a lot of manipulaton with my pages before, either manual and base dumps, & I didn’t figure out to chech the slugs…
