Hi there,
If you’re sorting your popular posts by views, WordPress Popular Posts will only show the views it started calculating from the time you first installed this plugin. From version 2.3.x and on, WordPress Popular Posts can also calculate the popularity of your posts by the number of comments it has got and in this particular case it doesn’t matter when the plugin was installed since the comments count data is already present in your database since you installed WordPress.

Gotcha, thanks for letting me know. Is there any plugin that can see how many views you’ve had in the past before you installed it to create the most popular post list?
Nope, because WordPress itself doesn’t keep a count of pageviews natively. This plugin adds this functionality.
Hi there
Thanks for the plugin but it’s not working for me. I have installed it on this page http://manxmotortrader.com/our-sponsors/motaworld/ but you will see it doesn’t move past 0 (just about the map). Any ideas please?
Thanks
I’m sorry, I can’t see any sign of WPP on that page, glennjamieson. Are you sure you posted on the right place?
Hi Hector
Sorry I deleted the code, I am not using it any more. Thanks anyway.
