• I’ve taken over the hosting of a website, and the person who hosted the website before me made the theme.

    I’m trying to edit text on a few pages and the pages appear to have no text on the when I go to edit. The pages are, however, linked to a template in the column ‘page attributes’

    Do you know how I can edit the text on that page template?

    The page I am trying to edit is here:http://rudestickers.co.uk/wp/services

    You may have to edit the template file shown under ‘page attributes’.
    In the top of the correct file, it should have something like;

    Template Name: TheNameShownUnderPageAttributes

    If the Template Name is the same as the name shown under ‘page attributes’, you’re looking at the correct file that has the text.

    Page templates themselves shouldn’t have text hardcoded into the template. You might want to try to figure out a better way to add content to a site other than hardcoding it so if you find that template, think about removing that text entirely and replace it with a function that allows you to edit values from an interface on the backend – like a widget or custom meta.
